Lisa Nolland
Helping Children Find Their Identity
Lisa Nolland is a sex historian who has tracked the pan sexual, 'progressive'
revolutions for decades. She is CEO of the MSC, the Marriage, Sex and Culture Group, London.
She
edited and contributed to God, Gays and the Church (2008) and The New Normal (2018).
Recently,
Christian Today has published several of her articles. She exposes the bad but also promotes
the
good and addresses claims used to discredit traditional Christian sex ethics. She runs ‘Sex
Proofing Your Kids’ seminars; works closely with Once Gay and Parent Power organisations;
and
supports freedom of speech campaigns.
Lee Marsh
Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People
Lee Marsh is the managing director at Bruche Associates Limited. He has over 25
years’
experience working with children, young adults and vulnerable people which has required
safeguarding risk assessments, case reports, escalation activities, training, internal
organisational review and development of control measure and producers for a variety of
organisations including St. John Ambulance and the Church of England.
Lee has been a trainer for Safeguarding children, young adults and vulnerable persons for
over
10 years and is one of the Lead Instructor Trainers for Ofqual regulated qualifications in
Safeguarding for NUCO Training Ltd. He is a Justice of the Peace (Magistrate) in the
Criminal
Courts and a member of the parochial church council for the Parish of Warrington, St.
Elphin’s
Church and holds the office of Reader and was Licenced by the Bishop of Liverpool as Lay
Minister in the Church of England in 2017.
Mark Arnold
Supporting Families with Additional Needs
Mark Arnold is co-founder of the ‘Additional Needs Alliance’, a collective of
organisations, children’s & youth workers, parents and more who share a passion for making a
positive difference for children and young people with additional needs. He is also the
additional needs ministry Director at leading children’s and youth organisation called Urban
Saints, a ‘Churches for All’ partner, a member of the ‘Council for Disabled Children’ and
‘Living Fully’ and serves on the executive for ‘Children Matter!’ Mark has over 25 years of
youth work experience and is the father of James, an Autistic young adult, who has
additional
needs.
Karen Urhoma
Karen Urhoma – Conference Host. The CEO of Manthano Children Ministry Training. She has being working with children and teenagers for over 25 years, as a youth leader and then a children’s leaders. With an Early years professional Status, she has managed a nursery, run a holiday and after school club which has given her insight into the best practices on early childhood education and development. As a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Safeguarding Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults Instructor, she trains parents, teachers, volunteers and other professional working with children. She loves storytelling and puppetry. Together with her husband host a YouTube Channel ‘Parents and Teachers Working Together’.
Manthano aim to support anyone involved in the life of a child. We recognise that every child is special, with unique combinations of abilities and needs. Therefore, it is important that this is reflected in our practices, as we raise up godly children that are confident learners, strong in faith and resilient.

Teach Me To Teach
Teach Me To Teach is a gathering of people who are dedicated to the spiritual growth of
children; parents, church volunteers, ministry leaders, and anyone who has a passion for
ministering to children.
Training Modules

the development of every child, in every area of their life.
