Manthano Children Ministry Training (CMT) aims to support anyone involved in the life of a child. We recognise that every child is special, with unique combinations of abilities and needs. Therefore, it is important that this is reflected in our practices, as we raise up godly children that are confident learners, strong in faith and resilient.
Parents and Teachers Working Together
It was found that the parent provides the foundation on which teachers are able to build further structures. It is therefore important that parents and teachers work together to help support the development of every child, in every area of their life.
Teach Me To Teach
Teach Me To Teach is a gathering of people who are dedicated to the spiritual growth of children; parents, church volunteers, ministry leaders, and anyone who has a passion for ministering to children.
Training Modules & Curriculum
Manthano Children Ministry Training (CMT) recognises the importance of early childhood learning as preparation for a good educational experience. Sadly, most volunteers in children ministries have had to learn "on the job" without the crucial understanding of the formal educational methods or the skills, required for their role.
Our vision has inspired us to develop a specific range of modules. The sessions are highly interactive and full of practical tips, tools and techniques that people can use immediately.
Each module is designed to provide the tools, skills and knowledge required to:
- Support parental engagement in children’s learning
- Enable volunteers to confidently and effectively engage with children
- Connect with children who have behavioural challenges or learning disabilities
- Create a healthy and safe environment for children
The passion of Manthano CMT is to see godly children with the specific skill sets required for a leader. The sessions are highly interactive and full of practical tips, tools and techniques that people can use immediately.
